Ove Gudmestad is Professor Emeritus at the University of Stavanger and Adjunct Professor of Cold Climate Technology at the Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø. His main research interests are oil and gas development, marine technology and operations, cold climate engineering, and offshore wind engineering. He graduated from the University of Bergen and studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
