Professor Leopold Skerget from the University of Maribor served for many years as Head and Chair of the Institute for Power, Process and Environmental Engineering. He has worked in the development of boundary element methods for heat transfer and momentum transport in fluids, an area in which he has numerous publications. Leopold has long-established links with the Wessex Institute, where he started his research into Boundary Elements. He has collaborated in many other joint activities including the organisation of conferences and served as a member of the editorial boards of WIT Press publications.
